The I Am Never Quit Mission is an awareness campaign and fund-raising effort to encourage donations to non-profit organizations that provide a variety of quality of life, rehabilitative, and critical care services for active duty military and wounded veterans, and/or to their immediate families.
The three chosen charities are Gold-Star rated charities through Charity Navigator, these being, the Semper Fi Fund, One Team One Fight (the Navy SEAL Foundation and the 31 Heroes Project), and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
I Am Never Quit (I Am Never Quit Mission) was created by a former Armed Forces member whom was medically discharged twice from the Marine Corps for non-combat related injury/illness, and not allowed to carry on with his service. He is running to fulfill some level of service still by raising money for military charities, and in honor of some of his friends and others whom have perished or been severely wounded in their service in either the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan.
He is attempting to run twelve 100 mi or more ultra-marathons while wearing a weighted plate carrier. He is running in the plate carrier as a sign of solidarity with the wounded through the additional weight and challenges it offers, and to the families of those whose loved ones have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
The goal is to raise $100K for the charities through his own efforts, and by encouraging others to "Join the Mission," I Am Never Quit's engagement campaign whereas people can sign-up and encourage donations through participation in their own Never Quit challenges, such as a 10K, Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, Warrior Dash, etc.
Thank you for your support.
"A warrior must only take care that his spirit is not broken...never quit."
